The Challenge: Merging Two Sites Into One

Ben came to us with a few headaches.

For a while, Total Field Solutions and Hi-Tech Field Services operated under two separate business names, each with its own website. This setup made sense at the time—but now, they no longer needed to run both brands, and it was time to bring everything under one roof.

Here’s what needed to happen:
➝ Merge both websites into one, as the second business name was being retired.
➝ Ditch the dark theme and create a fresh, modern design.
➝ Keep the best content and leave the outdated stuff behind.
➝ Fix the coverage map by adding more stars to highlight their expanded service areas.
➝ Make the website easy to update, because their current WordPress setup was such a pain that they rarely touched it.

With two sites full of mixed content and branding, a simple redesign wouldn’t cut it—we needed a smarter approach.

The Game Plan: A Clean Slate

Instead of trying to fix what was already there, we made the call to start fresh.

Here’s what we did:

➝ Built a brand-new site from scratch – This was more efficient than trying to rework the old designs.
➝ Switched to Webflow – This gave Ben and his team a website that’s much easier to update, no more WordPress struggles.
➝ Curated the best content – We carefully picked the most valuable information from both sites and left the rest behind.
➝ Updated branding on images – Some images had the old business name, so we got a graphic designer to edit them seamlessly.
➝ Recreated the coverage map – Instead of just adding stars to a JPG, we had a designer rebuild the map properly, so stars can be added or moved in the future.
➝ Added a careers section – Because hiring the right people is just as important as getting the right clients.
